Really good meal in a nice environment - the steaks were cooked to perfection and service good, basics I know for a steak house but not all do it as well! B

Arrived early and greeted at the door. Had drink at the Bar and a chat with the staff for a recommendation on the choice of steak. Been to S & W New York recently and had a great Sirloin on the bone following a visit 16years ago with a best sirloin experience ever which meant a return was long overdue. Also dined at S&W in Vegas some years ago. We arrived an hour early to the actual booking and they were happy to accommodate us straight away. The service and the food was really good, but we found the lighting in the restaurant was a bit dim. Also my partner and her brother ordered a cocktail which was supposed to be peach but tasted absolutely disgusting (almost like a menthol medicine). We asked the waiter to take it back and change for a different drink, yet we were still charged for it on the bill, which was very disappointing considering they didn’t even drink ... read more
