My favorite restaurant for steak!! The food is always great quality and tastes amazing. I took customers for dinner as they were keen to try the place out after all the great things id said about it. The service was not up to the normal standards on our visit with longs waits and having to remind staff of things we had asked for. (Not great when the service charge was over £100!! - I should have complained about this at the time) That aside I will be back again !
Waiter too pushy. Otherwise up to S&W standards.
Incredible food and well-sized portions but slow, curt and occasionally rude service from staff that night. Unfortunate aspect of an otherwise lovely restaurant that put a damper on a birthday meal.
Perfect steaks and lovely selection of wine. Went here for the other half’s birthday. We ordered oysters for starters which was delicious. Saw the seafood platter being served and looked amazing too. Bill came to around £130 half dozen oysters, two steak and fries and a bottle wine

We had a great time here. Lovely staff, really classy place. Steaks were gorgeous and I just loved the feel of it. Am definitely coming back!
Great place - staff are friendly and have time to talk . Food on the expensive side but the staff and location probably warrant this
Booked a table for 4 here for lunch on Saturday. We all chose the brunch set menu not wishing to pay £80 for a steak!! Menu was good with lots of choice, even a steak if so desired albeit at £15 extra to set price. We all thought £22 set price for two courses was very good value. We shared two bottles of good wine which was reasonably priced. All in all a very pleasant lunch, and we were not rushed from our table.
Excellent!! I went with 8 friends and had a great time. We brought our table forward by half an hour and that wasn't a problem at all, from the gent on the door that welcomed us through to our server, everyone was absolutely lovely, very welcoming, seriously knowledgeable and the entire experience was fantastic. The setting is fantastic, absolutely beautiful and the food is GREAT, I regularly eat in Hawksmoor etc and without doubt will be coming back to Smith & Wollensky as its as good (better even) than anything else I've e... read more
