Fantastic place!! We came here for a get to get her brunch and it did not disappoint! Menu is extensive with lots of option, we choose the 2 courses for £22 brunch menu which was perfect and paired it with bottomless champagne. Food was delicious I highly recommend the waffles and bacon. Coffee options offer dairy free milk which was great as a lot of places still don’t offer this . Great place to go for lunch, the staff are very friendly and we felt well looked after, but the service was a little slow at times, even though the restaurant was resonably quite. But great food and we will definitely go again.
Steak was of excellent quality and service was friendly and attentive.
Food & service were impeccable. We both had oysters, chicken schnitzel & shared side dishes. I would recommend asking for a table upstairs, unfortunately we were seated downstairs, our table was very close to the couple next to us & then a very large party arrived & the noise levels increased dramatically.....not very romantic for us.
I telephoned on Friday 14 Sep ahead of my sons visit on Sat 15 Sep. He was celebrating his girlfriends 18th birthday and I asked the lady on the phone called Agna to arrange two glasses of champagne (my son would pay) and requested a cake to be presented. I also asked for the cost of the cake and was told it’s a small cake that it would be presented free of charge for her birthday. Great welcome on entrance and very attentive staff in general. Not the pomp and ceremony associated with visits to New York/Chicago but enjoyable just the same.
I made a mistake here, I ordered a burger as I like a rare burger but when I tasted my partners Steak I was very envious, the burger was good though. Also had amazing sides, the best I have ever had mac n cheese and hash brown. Can’t wait to go back.
A really superb find, the food is excellent and the wine list is both comprehensive and well priced. The decor is very much like something from the American gilded age, worth a visit if only for that.
Just fantastic! Went after the theatre and had the fillet steak. I was not disappointed and will definitely be recommending to my friends.
