Delicious food however long waits
We went for my birthday dinner during the England match. We ordered the porterhouse and our waiter was lovely enough to suggest we go watch the match while we wait for it to be cooked. It does take 45 min to make. So be prepared to wait a while
Had an exceptionally pleasant supper. Bar staff and waiting staff were knowledgable and professional with a good sense of humour. Would definitely go back.
We went while the football was on, and watch the game in the basement. The food was really good. A special shout out for the steak! I was worried at that price, it might be a case of overcharging but it was worth every penny. The desert and starters were good too. Good wine list. Excellent food! Definitely recommend the truffle mac and cheese - it’s to die for.
Quite an expensive steakhouse but you cannot fault it on the quality of the dishes, the attentive waiting staff. Be warned though that the min. prices for a main course tends to start from £30 each and jumps up in stacks of £30s - so it is very easy to spend £150 per head which is very pricey for the majority of people who just want to fleet in and out near The Strand to head for theatre land thereafter.
