Mum’s birthday. 1 of the 3 servers helping us wasn’t very attentive (she also gave us the lunch menu instead of the dinner menu). But I’m glad that the other two were on top of things: the one who cut our steak was very attentive, and one of the head servers (she was wearing a different uniform) who helped us more than made up for the other server’s shortcomings. Great cocktails and bar followed by a fabulous meal and prompt attentive service. Great wine selection, all courses were well prepared, cooked and served. Just what was needed for a business meeting.
Service was excellent, food good, atmosphere great, prices a little high but not a problem. One of the party had a birthday and without us knowing a card and cake appeared , very nice touch. We would recommend this restaurant for any occasion big or small.

My partner and I went to Smith and Wollensky to celebrate a birthday recently. It was amazing! The food was delicious, the staff extremely friendly and ambience wonderful. It isn't cheap so I would suggest visiting for a special occasion such as a birthday: the surprise 'happy birthday' chocolate cake and card was a nice touch.
I've been to Smith & Wollensky's before and in my opinion it is the best steak restaurant in London and my last visit reinforced this. The service is second to none, the meat is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect with the grandiose bar and building. Can't wait to go back!
Everything was good, and we were given a free Prosecco on arrival as it was our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately I don't like Prosecco so it was wasted on me. I'd have preferred the option of some free sides or a free dessert. You can't make the assumption people want alcohol. We were really disappointed by the noisy diners either side of us, clapping and jeering really loudly at each other like they were in a pub.
