Smart restaurant with a long attractive bar. Service was excellent. Went for the 3 course pre theatre menu, food was good although the steak & kidney pudding really needed some gravy inside or with it, rather dry. The meaty burgers were good. Very enjoyable evening overall.
Steaks were the best I’ve had. Service was excellent. Just a little pricey, but worth every penny. Definitely recommend!
A birthday celebration. The bar service was very good, food and service was excellent. Very little to complain about but if I had to pick something...I would say perhaps in the cocktails - a better more exciting range in the menu. More extravagant glasses, more add ons and a little more showmanship to get my family excited about the whole thing. But thats a fuss.

Great location and atmosphere with good food to accompany it.
My wife & I really enjoyed the whole dining experience at S&W. The staff manage a great combination of being friendly and welcoming while also being very knowledgeable and professional. The steaks are fantastic and backed up by a similarly good menu and wine list. It was the most expensive meal we have ever had by some margin but we were celebrating so it was worth the treat.
S&W is one of our most favourite restaurants in NYC and expects the same in London. The food and ambience were exceptional, except the Cajun fries were massively over coated in Cajun spice they were so thickly coated. We were sneezing and coughing and after just one chip each we had to abandon them. We love Cajun spice but this was way too much. We let the server know. Great steak, great service and reasonably priced wine.
The food and service were very good. Earnest at the bar was very knowledgeable and is an absolute asset to the restaurant.
