We had dinner with the family on the 31st December 2016. We loved the place not only because of the delicious meal and the beautiful atmosphere but also the childfriendly and polite waiters. Thank you all for the experience.
Absolutely perfect steak restaurant experience. Welcome is friendly, decor is tasteful and cosy with a lovely bar area. Our service was well paced, helpful and friendly. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and possibly the best I've ever had and definitely the best I've had in the UK. Only suggestion would be to offer more choice of size for the USDA steaks. Fantastic service! Treated well and the chocolate cake was amazing
I was disappointed not to be advised that the 12.5% service charge added was added not just to the bill for the evening but also to the ticket price for the live entertainment. £58 + was too much. I shall be taking this up with S&W as soon so they are open for business.
We loved the restaurant and enjoyed the outstanding service and ambiance. Overall the food was good but lacking culinary attention. To attract regular patronage food must be outstanding also to compliment the rest. We shall be happy to return and recommend our friends to do it likewise
After getting there and only being offered the brunch menu (no starters) we persuaded them to cook us some seafood, the crab legs were divine. This was an expensive meal, but it was Christmas Eve and you couldn't better the steaks. Would definitely visit again for a special occasion. Couldn't fault the food and the helpful staff after they could see we were disappointed by the seafood being unavailable. We have eaten in a few of these in the states but had no idea we had one in London. We will return.
Excellent food, steak was lovely, the only thing I can fault was the mac and cheese was to dry. Would return again.
S&W is a vast restaurant, we ate at 17:30 on a Saturday when only the ground floor was open. We have previously eaten at 20:00 when the service and food quality were lower, perhaps due to the higher volume of traffic. When this place clicks it's far and away the best overall steak experience in London, as it should be as the most expensive. We will make a point at eating off peak going forward.
My boyfriend and I went for a Christmas celebration and had an unforgettable experience. We will be back very soon xx
