Incredible food and service. The decor inside was reminiscent of 60's New York and made for a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a special lunch/dinner.
Had Christmas dinner with some girl friends - it's always fun to be around them so it doesn't always matter where we go but I was really impressed with Smith & Wollensky. The food was good & the service was amazing, it's in a really nice location & it's beautiful and very cosy inside . A little pricy but it's Christmas so I didn't mind .

I've eaten in many steakhouses in the US having lived in Chicago and done plenty of business in Boston, New York, etc. S&W brings to London the best of the great US steak houses. Think of 'Chicago Chop House' or 'Gibsons' and transplant onto the Strand.... and you get the drift. It's not cheap, but the steak is amazing, inventive and served brilliantly. we had the pre theatre menu with steak option. The american steak was the tastiest I've had since being in New York
Good food! We've had better steak however the service was excellent! Our waiter went out his way
All was good but The Thanksgiving dinner turkey was quite dry.
