My wife and I could not be happier with our decision to go with Solar Optimum. We were close to going with another provider because of pricing but after digging deeper into that company's reviews, we ultimately decided Solar Optimum was the better choice based on their rating, customer service, and value. I worked with a different vendor than Solar Optimum at first to try to set up my solar system - had nothing but headaches and couldn't get a firm price. I switched to Solar Optimum via Ensage (my Step son had a system installed by Solar Optimum and recommended the Ensage site for comparison and contact actions). First, Solar Optimum puts a lot of effort into removing negative reviews on any review site through a number of ways. They've even resorted to manipulation and deception in my case. They consistently show their heavy-handed approach rather than focusing on actually improving customer service. The installation, replacement, and repair staff were excellent, but the business side is a little scattered. Terrible Company and Dishonest People, Made Me Lose NEM2 Status Solar Optimum gave me a contract price so I signed up with them to qualify for NEM2. Then they came up with this roof reinforcement that was necessary for before installing the system on my roof. They have a roofing division that does roof related work. Other contractors were able to install without any roof modifications. The contract price with this change went up by roughly 50%.
