The one star for the amazing front desk and the technicians And doctors. Go some where else anywhere else but stay away from this Solis. Not all solis are in hospitals, this one is BAD radiologist with a family history of breast cancer results from the radiologist was prolly not cancer ??? And your billed from Solis and then the hospital because it is the hospital... to be safe go to somewhere else
I went to Solis Mammography on July 9, 2019 for a needle biopsy. The office staff and the technician that prepped me for the procedure were AWESOME! However, the radiologist, Dr. Song, was horrible!! She came in to the room, did not introduce herself. She immediately started the procedure, she told me I'd feel a slight pinch while she administered the lidocaine, which I did, no big deal. Ripped off! Said they took my insurance then received outrageous bill. Never paid for a mammogram in all my years of having one. I am 74. They sure don't understand living on fixed incomes. Too bad zero stars not available.
It was not clear I would be charged for outpatient hospital services at this Solis location. It was an $800 surprise for an annual screening & follow up plus the doctor's office bill & doctor bill. I was told other locations do not have the hospital fee. My bad luck for picking this location. I gave one star because of the very nice people but I feel ripped off by picking this location off a list. I can't afford to come here for screenings.
Was told that my BC/BS insurance would cover basic mammo. I even double checked because typically we have to pay something every time we go to the doctor. I was again reassured that it would be covered. I sit here now looking at a $472.28 bill and nobody at Solis cares. The blame was put on Medical City Lewisville, and nobody over there cares either. Beware of empty insurance promises and huge bills when dealing with Solis. Do your own checking prior to visiting.
