Dr. Hall and her staff were so kind and helpful. It was very stressful finding out whether or not I have breast cancer but they made my experience bearable! The biopsies were done with extreme care and precision. I highly recommend this mammography facility and their staff. Thank you for making my life better!
First visit to this particular Solis facility. Best mammography experience. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and professional. African American lady whose name escape me right now was super friendly and informative. The Mammogram Tech. ( Diana) and Ultrasound Tech. (Jen) were both professional, empathetic, gentle and thorough. The best mammogram and ultrasound experience I've had in 30yrs. Highly recommend this facility. I'll be back.
I'm having some issues at this location this year. Things are not clear or specified. The quality care has worn off a bit. I came in February to get a mammogram and was told the results weren't good, to come back for another. This began a cat and mouse game of trying to figure out how much I would be charged and why? My insurance is also not the greatest but if Solis is requesting another test, I should have an order for it. This is why our medical system has deteriorated so much. Ladies...if you need to schedule a mammogram, let me share a little info with you. Solis Mammography at HCANorthwest Hospital (1960 & 45) was definitely a great experience THIS morning. Yes. Saturday. I didn't have to miss work or get up super early so that I could get to work at a decent time after getting my exam done. I checked in at 815 for an 830 appointment. Went to the Peakwood location as a first time patient and it was a horrible experience. When I walked in I was instructed to sign in, which I did. I waited and waited to be called up to the desk where there were 2 ladies, one Black and one Hispanic. I kept getting skipped over so I finally asked when were they going to call my name and apparently the Hispanic lady put my paperwork to the side and kept calling Hispanic ladies. I was referred here by my OB that I love, so I had high hopes. Booking an appt was easy enough although they called me 45 mins before my appt to tell me they'd have to reschedule lol. Meanwhile, I made the appt hours before. That was super inconvenient. And the worst part is I feel like Solis is gatekeeping medical care - I need a scan for an issue related to breastfeeding, they won't see me unless I get a mammogram first. Saturday appointment So I booked this appointment for the convenience of me not having to takeoff from work. However, my appointment is for 8 o'clock. I got reminders all week for a whole month up until the day of the appointment which was a good thing however, my appointment said to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early. upon arrival there is no cars in a parking lot. K. Falgout Peakwood Dr My experience was extremely disappointing. The fair pricing estimate did not include the approximate fees for the lab and hospital. I was not informed that there would be additional lab or hospital fees at all. I chose this facility due to what I thought was inclusive pricing so I wouldn't have " additional fees". The CSR's were adequate but definitely not informative or compassionate. I was told of additional fees AFTER I had swiped my card for the cash price of 1354.00.
