This is a really great clinic. The staff and doctor were really kind and patient. My dog has anxiety with vet clinics and both the technician and vet are were on the ground with her trying to make her comfortable and provided terrific care.

The efficiency of the South Surburban staff is outstanding. They answer the phone immediately, they are friendly and compassionate. I have seen 3 of the vets at S.S. and all of them are knowledgeable and friendly. My fur baby has lots of health issues and they have helped him in many ways. I highly recommend South Surburban Animal Hosptial.
For purely selfish reasons, I hesitate to give too high a review these awesome folks because I don’t want to lose the personal touch to tons of new patients. The staff from front to back are caring, thoughtful, understanding, professional, intelligent, and just lovely people to do business with. Whether your pet is healthy or very ill, South Suburban Animal Hospital will take care of you and your well-loved pets in a way that makes every visit feel good. Even “saying goodbye” is handled as well as it can be. Thank you!

Dr. Lemon is so caring, compassionate, and very thorough
We took our cat Chester here and have not gone to another place. They truly treat anyone's furry friend like family and care about each family. Thank you so much to Dr. Sauty and Megan! (I hope I spelled your name right) Each time I come in Megan always says hi to Chester and it warms my heart. Thank you!
We arrived with our diabetic cat for a 10 AM appointment only to find we were there on the wrong day. The clinic fit us in with a vet we hadn’t seen before, and she (Dr Lemon) was great. Thorough, kind, and not intimidated by our rather hissy (scared) kitty. We will continue to call them our vet, unless the corporation that now owns the clinic raises prices too much.
We have been taking our dogs to South Suburban for 20+ years. Always a great experience. Always great service and compassion. We have, over the years, had to say goodbye to 3 of our furry family members, and they have been wonderful. Todays visit was for shots, etc for our 15 month old newest family member. The time, care and compassion they show is tremendous. We wouldn’t take our buddies anywhere else. Thank you!
