I had no schedule appointment and walked in looking for information for my mother for memory care. The environment was so peaceful and welcoming. The residents were engaging and talking. It's a true southern charm. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a safe and homestyle environment.

I toured with my wife looking for my mother for assisted living. She currently lives with us, and it's become a little overwhelming. However, when we walked into Southern Pines we were greeted by the lady at the front desk. Someone was able to show us around and look. They answered all the questions and more. I am bringing my mom next week to pick out her apartment since they only have a few left. I think we finally found a place she can call hers and home.

Clean and organized! The staff are caring and compassionate and work to deliver quality care to your loved ones. Would definitely recommend if you are seeking a senior living facility for yourself or someone you love!

A caring and loving staff. The people I know who work there have the best interests of the internal community they serve. A family atmosphere where all are loved and given the care the need and the staff goes above and beyond what is asked of them

I have been very happy with Southern Pines. The facility is very clean and meets all the needs of my loved one. The staff is very efficient and friendly. The grounds are very nice and well kept. The safety on the facility grounds are sufficient for those that are mobile. Overall a very nice place.

Today we are offered alternatives to nursing homes . They are memory centers which offer various activities, physical exercise and other brain stimulating programs. These are so helpful in keeping our elderly communicating , staying physically active and living to their maximum. I searched for such a place for my mom with beginning dementia. I found a community that was small, friendly and appeared to have a compassionate,caring staff. I chose Southern Pines. My mom is a new resident there. I am so pleased with Southern Pines. The staff there has always been open to me when inquiring how my mom is doing. I was even notified immediately when she fell. I appreciate that they want the family to be involved in the care of their residents .I would recommend it as a safe and caring place.After comparing three places, I felt this was the best fit for my mom.

Having been here for the past 7 months, I have found this to be BY FAR the best place in town. The people are very "family" oriented, the food is great, and we have noticed a genuine caring in the very hands on service. Communication is very important to me and that is something we have seen a lot of. When your family is being taken care of, I feel it is important that you're able to get a response quickly or updates frequently. They are friendly, responsive, and very caring. We picked this community, because it was the atmosphere. The residents seemed happy. The other place I looked at was too sterile, and cold feeling. The food it's a little bland, and maybe that's due to diet issues and ages.
