My sweet Azrock was diagnosed with Lymphoma. He was 12 at the time. The vets there helped me through every step of trying to keep him comfortable. Oct 9th we had to euthanize him. It was the worst pain I have ever felt. The love during and after has helped me so much. We love you guys.

Cannot say how happy we were with visit today for our kitties, Chloe and Grace. The staff was great, Dr. Reilly was friendly and thorough. The toys in the exam room helped entertain the girls while we had a brief wait for lab results. Highly recommend@

We were clients of Southside pet hospital over twenty years ago and left soon after Dr Schieffer retired to use a small vet clinic in DeSoto until he retired recently. The new vet is no longer open on Saturdays and this past weekend found us in an emergency situation starting Friday night at midnight when our 12yr old Sadie began having seizures. Our dog Mia is a 65lb, 6yr, Chow Chow and she hurt her leg by tripping down 3 steps. Then she was unable put weight on it and developed a limp! Not only that we suspected a urine infection and possibly eye issues because she recently acted as though couldn't see as well (causing a fall) Dr. Hanson at Southside was WONDERFUL! Some vets get a little guarded around Chows but he was patient and listened to our advice about how to handle Mia! My sister n law was in from out of state, had to take her older dog into see Dr Reilly, she was so great with her & the dog. Gave her options & my biggest worry was she would be charged for unnecessary test & Dr Reilly was really good to guide her on what could be done & really saved her alot of money & took great care of her pooch! I love this place!

I am not currently a client - but this hospital accepted and cared for my 80 lb Plott hound like he was their own. A very kind woman brought him to them finding him a couple of miles away near Martin Luther King and Holmes. He had escaped my locked car and push down the passenger side window!!! While I was inside . He broke his control collar and was hanging around the foxhole PX where I was shopping- he is chipped and licensed and tagged- I just happened to talk with a guy that talked with her in the parking lot. Dog got injured and it was late and they were the only one open this late. They saw my dog even though it was 5-10 minutes before closing time. Found out he has a torn ACL. The was my first time going too them so already I am very impressed. Think I will become a regular. Also, helped us get meds while we were on vacation in Colorado. Again, they really impressed me.
