We'd had a disappointing experience in The Ivy, Bath the preceding night, but this restaurant exceeded our expectations. The venue is lovely, full of character. It was air-conditioned too; very welcome in this current heatwave. Staff were attentive and efficient. Our waitress (Ralu) was both friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel really welcome. Just a good all round experience, a friendly environment quick but not hurried service and a friendly waitress. The chicken kebabs were superb, tasty and very tender chicken. One grumble, the tempting cocktail 🍹 promotion did not include non alcoholic options which was disappointing.

The service was so attentive- friendly and welcoming staff and chef met specific dietary needs. We sat outdoors in the sunshine with a perfect view of street performers which just added to the experience (live opera whilst we ate!) The food was fresh and very large portions (treat yourself to the Frutti de mare, it was perfect)

Beautiful! We sat inside which was lovely or you can go outside. We started with their drink special, 2 cocktails for 12 pounds. Wonderful! Dinner salads were great. We ordered the filet steak and the Sole. Both were excellent. Great wine list, we chose a red from Mendoza. Desserts were divine. Our server Ollie was outstanding! We really enjoyed listening to the piano player, the music was so nice. We had a wonderful experience during our visit from the USA!
