Their trash service doesn't pick up the trash on the days they're supposed to. They open the pool and then close it two days later but don't tell anyone. The vents from the dryers are full of lint which I'm pretty sure is a fire hazard. They force you to have their tv and internet service which is super slow. They charge you a ton for pets. They charge a ton for you to switch from one apartment to the other. Maintenance doesn't fix the problems most of the time. Usually it is just a temporary fix. This place is not worth the amount they are asking for. While the manager is a pleasure to work with, the other two ladies in the office are a little to snobby and need to work on their professional behavior, as well as a friendly customer front. Like another review said, the office staff is PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE! When living there we experienced many thefts around the community. They don't offer much security, so it's far from safe. Affordable, but not much living space. Not good for military if you work 7 days a week some weeks. They will not overlook the 5 day grace period and will not allow you to drop off money during the week when you get home late after working 14 hours. Does not care.

To whom it may concern: If you are looking for a decent apartment that has high monthly rates accommodated with tiny living spaces and extensive traffic on your way to work every morning; this is the place for you! THIS IS NOT A MILITARY FRIENDLY BUSINESS! I lived at these apartments for about a year, and I can tell you that they are awful. The management is poor and unhelpful, they lack security, and they have ridiculous rules that constantly change. Sure, my apartment layout was nice and the price was not terrible. But I would rather have spent the money on an apartment where we had a security cameras, better office hours, helpful staff and looser pet restrictions. The area and location is great but for the money you spend its not worth it to live there. inside space is a little outdated, the carpet is hideous and the laminate flooring is yellow due to too much bleach over time. We have had ant issues constantly after pest guy has come out and sprayed. We started seeing ants here and there and has progressively gotten worse; it didn't really bother us until they started to get into our food in the pantry. This apartment complex is, simply put, terrible. For people who like to pay a lot of money for great amenities, like a frequently smelly pool, a tiny gym, and revitalizing of an already packed parking lot (meaning you don't get to park at home for a full work week!), then this is the place for you. With St James at Goose Creek, you can feel like you just bought a home (and found out there was an annoying HOA involved).
