Worst place ever... I make an appointment for 11am, arrive a few minutes early, and I wait until 11:30 and no one takes my dog in. Why even bother making an appointment at a time when you're not going to even honor it. Worst place ever, DO NOT USE!
RecommendedWe went here today because my regular vet wouldn’t fit us in. My dog is 13 and hasn’t been eating and then started vomiting. She’s had pancreatitis in the past. I called my regular vet when they opened, told them the history and they said they couldnt fit us in. I was so upset. I called Stafford Veterinary Hospital and they told me to come in. I am not happy with Stafford Veterinary Hospital at all. I went to them in our families time of need and after a few tests and some blood work I was sent home. Told my pet was more or less healthy. Ya $500 later. Our pet Pluto isn't okay. He isn't healthy. I have gone with almost two days of no sleep having to care for him. Get him unstuck. Turn him around. In order to determine Pluto’s condition, further diagnostics are needed since a single diagnostic test is not always enough to determine what is troubling a patient. On Saturday 8/12/17 my wife's dog got hit by a car on Bayshore Dr. As you can imagine she was upset and the dog was hurt. After realizing the dog was still alive she called Barnegat Animal Clinic to bring the dog in to make sure there was no internal damages. When the person answered the phone at Barnegat Animal Clinic rather then my wife being greeted with compassion she was asked "are you a client of ours". Farewell Stafford Vets. After 30 years of patronage we will be taking our business elsewhere. Apparently the almighty dollar now means more than the animals. Twice over the last week I've driven to your location only to basically be denied service. Once was a visit to get ointment for one of my dog's ears. I was told I couldn't purchase it because he hadn't been seen for a year which was totally untrue. They use to be a great vet, but recently they don't seem to care much about the pets anymore. My one dog had staples, and I had to reschedule her appointment to have them removed, so I called the day of to confirm it was that day, since no one called and they said I didn't have an appointment, meaning the girl never actually put it in the computer.
