We will never return after 7 years! Our vet retired and we cannot wrap our heads around how we have been treated. We are loyal loving owners to two beautiful chocolate labs and have been treated like numbers on a spreadsheet. This is a small town and we like to be treated like loyal trusted return customers. one of my dogs was sedated without my consent!! This is So Wrong and I will be making formal complaints to the NJVMA!!
Business response:
Our doctors do not sedate pets unless medically necessary and certainly not without a clients consent. Unfortunately, we were not able to provide you with the heart worm prevention medication you requested without an annual heartworm test. This test is required once a year to ensure a pet is negative for heartworm disease before we can provide a year supply of heartworm prevention. If a dog is positive, and we unknowingly place them on prevention, it could do severe damage including death. While we truly value our long term... read more
Had a 2:30;pm appointment with a tech for my dog Rufus, distemper shot, parking lot was crowded, I called the office from parking lot. Was put on hold, with no answer, so I drove off. Parking lot was full so I new it would be a long wait. Either your overbooked or understaffed. Well consider changing vets.
Business response:
John, we know your time is valuable and can assure you we make every effort to see clients in a timely manner. As a Vet Hospital rather then a Vet clinic we cannot always predict the wait-time. Emergency cases also take priority at times and do cause inevitable delays. We always try to communicate our wait times to the best of our ability. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and are always open to feedback and suggestions.
Horrible.. my dog is so sick and they said to bring her in Aug 11.. my dog has been a patient since she was a pup.. she is now 13. Is this how you treat patients .. but you took her right away for a dental app.. and had no problem taking $2000. For dental work!’ Find another Vet!’
Business response:
Christine, we know your pets care is very important. While we try to take every pet in need for care we have to be cautious not to overbook as well as overload our Veterinarians. we have to do our best to provide the best care and time to everyone. During the course of the summer our Emergency cases become very high as well as have take priority at times and do cause inevitable delays and cancellations. Sometimes this causes us to have to partner with another hospital and send additional ERs there. Currently we are seek... read more
We had an appointment this past Monday at 7 pm for my dog Rocky. We arrived for curbside check-in 10 minutes early, waited in the car for 35 minutes before I finally called and asked when we were going to be seen. The staff said, “We don’t have any more appointments.” When I corrected her, she told me the doctor would come out to get him. Shortly after, the various staff members were leaving to go home. Organization and care for their customers and patients isn’t amongst their strong suits. Apparently they won’t let pet own... read more
No sense of urgency or ability to triage during significant issues.
I have been charged for services both not requested - and a renewal fee for a plan I never cancelled. I am displeased with the changes occurring at Stafford vet. I have used them for 7 years and this last year their customer service and standards have dropped significantly. Response time to get my diabetic dog on insulin took 5 days and then another day to get him started. This would not happen if a humans had diabetes- insulin would be started immediately.
Business response:
