Typically one of my favorites but not that night. Service was slow, communication was lacking (other servers we heard talk to guests about wait on food or bread etc.). What should be a easy to please charcuterie (which does seem very meat heavy with 3 meats and 2 cheeses of small amount) was lacking for sure. The cheese was 5 very thing slices of a 'block' cheese and pimento was listed as the other cheese but we were given about a tablespoon of it. I am extremely disappointed in your overall experience. While it seems there were some brief highlights, it feels like we truly dropped the ball on the overall dinner with us. While the Filet Medallion dish was removed from the menu, we still have everything in house to make it, and can do so upon request. I am sorry if there was a breakdown in communication. A somewhat disappointing visit. Stone Creek has always been one of our favorite restaurants but the meatloaf meal I had was below their usual quality. The sauce was baked into the meat rather then being spread over the top as in past visits, and the meat was overcooked. The service was good once the wait staff discovered we were there, but for the first 15 minutes we must have been invisible as no one came to offer us water or anything. We hope this was just a bad day for the cook and the staff and will not be repeated.
