"1970 Chevelle" I recently purchase a 1970 Chevell fro the TN store, I was told by the salesman (JG) that that car was in working order, He had driven it on multiple occasions. He also told me the only thing that did not work on the car was the horn. When I received the car it appeared in great condition, drove it 24 miles and heard a clanking noise from under the car near the transmission area. Parked the car and had it towed to a shop where it could be looked at. I did not want to drive the car fearing additional damage co... read more
"1970 k10" purchased a vehicle from Jim at the Nashville location. Asked questions about quality of the truck since I couldn't go 1200 miles to check it out. Pics looked good. They had pics of the truck underside up on a rack so they must have been under it and looked at it. Jim said the owner had gone overboard on the restoration. Body of the truck had several nicks and scratched that had been touched up with a brush, but overall from a distance it looked good. The underside is a different story. Frankenstiened is all I can... read more
"An experience to remember" I recently purchased a 1985 Lebaron from this dealer. I expected problems with a 33 year old vehicle with only 6000 miles as advertised. Since the purchase I have found they lied to me almost all the time when I questioned them about specifics on the vehicle. The questions I asked had a bearing on my decision to purchase or not. Certainly an adjustment on the purchase price. The sales manager lied to me as I found prior invoices for major repair work on a car with 6000 miles on it in the vehicle t... read more
"Buying my 42 Ford from Streetwise Classics." After a long search for a classic car, I found the one I wanted. The transaction went very smooth. With the help of: Andrew Evans, Consignment Rep, Jim Gorel, Sales Associate, Kelley Archibald, Office Manager. After the car was delivered, Kelley went out of her way to help me deal with California DMV. The car was delivered very quickly in an enclosed carrier. I wish I could buy another from them.
"Should know bads with goods" Was told everything good, but not told, no, horn, broken speedometer and electrical problem with lights. Radiator needs replaced. Should let customer know the bads with the goods.
"Very Disappointed" The truck looked great in the pictures....but pictures don't describe how the vehicle drove. so when I asked the salesperson, Lucas I believe, he said it road and drove just fine. The truck was delivered in early November and I have yet to drive the truck. The front suspension had to be completely rebuilt as I was lead to believe that the suspension had dropped spindles when in fact the springs were heated and lowered to an unsafe driving condition. the oil pan had broken dipstick pieces in it and plenty ... read more
"BUYER BEWARE " Streetside Classics cannot guarantee that what they are selling is factual. Meaning they have no way of guaranteeing that what the seller tells them has been modified to the car has actually been done. You are better off buying a car from an individual and not paying a premium, or a salesperson commission, at Streetside . They do not inspect any vehicle that comes in for authentication. Any seller could tell them anything about work being done and they will just take that as fact. My guess is they prefer this... read more
