I purchase a 1973 corvette and asked the salesperson if the AC worked and he stated that it needed to be serviced but worked. When I looked under the hood the cars AC harness was missing. When I received the car there was oil on the driver floor board, which turned out to be broken power steering lines. Not even two weeks after receiving the car it started running hot on very short distances, the radiator was full of rust which means I had to replace the radiator and water pump. Almost everything that could be wrong was wron... read more

Business response:

The customer purchased this vehicle almost one year ago in March of 2023. During the entire year, we never heard anything from the customer about any issues and were never given any chance to even attempt to correct the situation. Very difficult for us when they never reached out regarding any issues.

Very sketchy dealership. I purchased a 1967 Chevy Nova. Sales person followed through on nothing. I do however expect that when dealing car sales people. Although the car looks great, when it arrived the front end was so out of alignment it was not safe to drive. I didn't catch this in the video until after the fact, but you can hear the tire's squealing as they drive away. That was a $700.00 repair with a lot of additional suspension work yet to be done. The major concern however, is the over heating and low oil pressure, (... read more

This place is a joke. All I can say is wow! My father lives in Nashville and has used streetside for yrs. After my fathers last experience with streetside in Nashville with the inventory manager and inventory consultant. He decided to take his business to another consignment dealership. Which he has the right to do and he shared his experience on google with a review. Well, you better not do that or you will be harassed.

The car I purchased based on lies from Jim Gorel, and backed by Brad Mueller, is actually a bigger turd than first suspected. It truly blows my mind at how shady these clowns really are. MUST READ! The only difference between these clowns and any other sleazy used car dealer is these clowns specialize in classic cars! I truly thought that they would have some integrity but they do not. NONE! Jim Gorel is the sales rep (con man) I had the displeasure of dealing with. Prior to the sale it was "here's my cell number, reach out ... read more

We purchased a 1971 c 10 truck and we had it delivered which took two months to receive it. We ended up paying a fine at the tax place as it was over 30 days… we were told from the shipper that we would not have to pay it due to covid ! Wrong!! The first time we drove the truck the battery went dead and the gas pedal fell off… buyer beware. Very rude salesman…

Business response:

We are sorry for the shipping delay, we use 3rd party companies as we do not ship vehicles. That portion of the review should likely be left for the actual company responsible for shipping. We would like to note that while your vehicle was booked a tornado and snow storm hit the mid south and MANY vehicle transports were cancelled due to severe weather as was explained to you both via the transport company and Sales Manager from Streetside personally calling. At which time was fine and understandable by this reviewer. As to ... read more

Word of Caution! Find a local mechanic or expert 3rd party to check out their vehicles before trusting what the salesman says. I drove over 700 miles from Oklahoma to Tennessee only to find out that the truck was not the "Reliable, Turn Key, Hop in it and go" version that Jim described over the phone. The c10 I was looking at had to be cranked on for at least 45 seconds with a lot of throttle pedaling before it even started to reveal a steady fuel leak at the pre-carb filter. It was on air ride which proved to be the next pr... read more

Business response:

We are very sorry the truck didn’t meet your standards. We do not build the vehicles so we don’t always have the ability to know things like how long the air ride system takes to build adequate pressure before operating correctly. The fuel leak was a very simple fix, the truck had one of the glass filters that are notorious for leaking. They look great but that is certainly a part malfunction and not something we could predict. When classic vehicles are not being driven regularly (i.e. sitting in our showroom for sale) leaks... read more

"Terrible staff. Uneducated when it comes to knowledge in..." Terrible staff. Uneducated when it comes to knowledge in regards to vehicles. Awful paint job, terrible interior. Creative photography. Absolutely awful.... don’t return. Ever

Business response:

We are sorry you feel that way. Our staff is actually very educated. While we don’t have a full history on every vehicle we sell, that doesn’t mean that we aren’t educated on classics. It is impossible to know every aspect of a classic vehicle given the amount of times they change hands, we do the best we can to describe them as they are. Obviously, you didn’t like the vehicle you came to see. We have over 240 vehicles in the building and sell over 40 vehicles per month. We have hundreds of happy buyers but understand you di... read more

"Professionally handled transaction" I bought a 1935 Ford sight unseen which is risky. The vehicle arrived exactly as represented with no surprises. This is not a perfect car but questions were answered honestly and in a forthright manner (no sales BS). I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Streetside Classics. Kudos to Jim Gorel, the sales representative who handled this transaction and earned my trust.

Business response:

We realize that buying a car online and not seeing it in person can be scary. We believe "sales BS" & stress shouldn't play any part when buying your dream car. Transparency in car sales create happy, well informed customers that return and share their experience. This is especially important when the vehicle isn't perfect show quality. Sometimes we only have one chance to make an impression and we are thrilled you allowed us the opportunity to assist you with this purchase. Thank you and as always, if there is anything else... read more

"1970 Chevelle" I recently purchase a 1970 Chevell fro the TN store, I was told by the salesman (JG) that that car was in working order, He had driven it on multiple occasions. He also told me the only thing that did not work on the car was the horn. When I received the car it appeared in great condition, drove it 24 miles and heard a clanking noise from under the car near the transmission area. Parked the car and had it towed to a shop where it could be looked at. I did not want to drive the car fearing additional damage co... read more
