Recently, Strive took over La Vita Pharmacy which I have been getting my prescriptions from for over a decade. Well Strive proceeded to raise the prices of my prescriptions exponentially! When I called for my refills, and was quoted the price, it was nearly double of what I had paid before. Nope! There are other compounding pharmacies in San Diego and one of them will be getting my business. This is just another example of corporate greed.

After years of dealing with American Integrative Pharmacy and their miscommunications, shipments sent to the wrong address, incorrect quantities, and now being unable to reach a human representative or receive return phone calls, I am fed up after the merger with Strive Pharmacy. It has taken weeks to get my prescription filled since their merger with Strive and the level of customer servcie has gone from bad to worse. Strive sent me some medication that comes in 2 containers that need to be mixed. You need a mixing needle large enough to extract the fluid from 1 container and insert it into the other. Strive did not include the needle. I called them and asked them to send me the needle. It took an unusually long time to process this request on the phone. I suspect the person I spoke with was new and didn't know what she was doing, but that is a guess. They took one month to fill part of my prescription. They only sent me one out of four of my medications. When I call, their staff tells me something different every time as to why the rest of my medications have not been sent. The one medication I did receive for my thyroid was billed at twice what I pay at other compounding pharmacies.
