The owner, Tom Kidd, came out & was my 3rd estimate for repair. While they were not the cheapest, they were by far the best! Tom took the time to go over my results, provide options & suggestions--very honest & absolutely no pressure. The work was done today & they put in 8 piers & had to jackhammer up part of my front porch. Kevin, the crew chief was fantastic! They didn't find any problems with the foundation. They told me that they would like to sell me some work but they didn't find anything that I needed. Scheduling was fine.
VERY GOOD crew and especially Van the crew chief. Van and his crew are true professional in everyway. Van answered all my questions and was very patient answering my wife?s questions. Two minor problems that occurred, Van handled without hesitation. It is a real pleasure to see workers take pride in the job they do. Good cleanup. This repair plan included the installation of interior piers. The process of installing interior piers is an invasive one, albeit sometimes a necessary one. The process requires disturbing flooring, cutting through the concrete slab (which creates concrete dust) digging a hole and removing dirt, piling it on tarps, installing the pilings and then putting everything back prior to patching the concrete. I contacted the company after finding them on Angie's List. Larry Todd came out to provide the original estimate. It turned out to be a bigger job than we had anticipated. It ended up costing twice as much as estimated because they had to replace everything under my house. The crew chief was able to negotiate on the price and did lower it by a couple of thousand dollars. They were unable to determine the state of the beams until they got under my home. The inspector that came out to give me the quote was wonderful at explaining the whole process to me and exactly why and how they would do each step. They scheduled me in June, but knew I was in a hurry and were able to push me up a week early. The workers came in and got everything done in 2 days and I was really happy with the job. <br />
