Dr. Gillings is amazing... so compassionate and really wants to get to know you, your situation and your pet. After having a previous poor experience bringing my cat through the ER, she addressed my concerns and alleviated some of the stresses of a cancer diagnosis. I am thankful for her taking the time to sit back and discuss all things in the crazy world of Veterinary medicine.
Always have taken great care of our dogs
At the end of June my nearly 13 year old black lab stopped eating and couldn’t walk or even stand. He’s a very “young” old dog and this was alarming. After taking him to one emergency vet and getting sent home with pain meds and no answers we decided to get a second opinion. The next day I took him to Summit Veterinary Referral Center and even they were not hopeful about his prognosis. However, after just over 24-hours at Summit he turned a corner in a huge way. My pug Chloe and I have seen Dr. Kice twice now and he is wonderful. The staff there are wonderful and helpful. They have a relaxing waiting room. Would recommend them to anyone with pets. ❤️
Our 5 year old Great Pyrenees had been limping and we kept getting the run around on a diagnosis. We finally brought her to the emergency department at Summit and Dr. Thomas was amazing. She confirmed what we thought, and gave her medication to keep her as comfortable until that time comes. We are so sad to lose our sweet girl, but thankful we can stop running around and just enjoy what time we have left with her.
