This was my toddler's first dentist appointment and it was wonderful! Everyone was so patient and made his first appointment really fun. The dentist probably spent about 30 minutes with us. The let him ride up and down in the dental chair, made a balloon out of an exam glove, and did a great job getting him used to the dentist office. For a two-year-old who hates getting his teeth brushed and who does not like doctors appointment this was a wonderful experience. I love this place and enjoy coming here (as much as you can love going to the dentist). Tina is amazing. She is so sweet and compassionate. She is very gentle as she cleans, but also extremely thorough. I always enjoy catching up and look forward to my next visit.
I broke a tooth over the weekend and called this office on a Monday. They were able to verify my insurance get me in by Wednesday. I went in expecting to have the tooth pulled since only a small portion of it remained. The dentist was able to save my tooth and fill it on the spot! What could have been a frustrating and painful visit was a relatively painless, easy and happy visit. Thank you Tarheel Family Dentistry for your outstanding work!
I would recommend TFD to all of my friends and family. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Dr. D is a great doctor and took his time and explained everything.
