I highly recommend Dr. Zaman. He asks the right questions (I know this from seeing many other doctors over the past 40 years), and then he provides helpful suggestions/ solutions to help you, whatever the issue is. He actually educates you while you are in session. I've had other doctors that just wanted to rush through the appointment to get to the next one, but Dr. Zaman is not like that. He wants to actually HELP YOU, the Patient, rather than just treat whatever your symptoms are. He is an excellent doctor.
Dr. Zaman is extremely attentive to his patients and doesn’t rush his appointments, which is always appreciated. He’s not only relatable, but also genuinely interested in listening and trying to find a treatment or solution that’s in his patients’ comfort zones.
I met Dr. Zaman after my anxiety and depression became unbearable. I had been to psychiatrists years ago and they really didn't interact with me. Dr. Zaman is a refreshing change. He listens!! He discussed my situation with me and explained why he suggested specific medications. I learned about possible side effects from him. We conversed about my fear of medications and he understood. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with Dr. Zaman! He is compassionate, thoughtful, and up-to-date on the best practices that the field of psychiatry has to offer. He listens deeply and responds with the best combination of the art and science available. I highly recommend him!
I really appreciate how much time he spends trying to get to know his patients in order to get them the proper help that they need. I feel as though having a younger doctor is very beneficial for me because he's more relatable when it comes to the changes within our society that affects the younger generations. Dr. Zaman is truly an excellent psychiatrist. As a current patient, I feel understood and comfortable in discussing my thoughts with him. Dr. Zaman’s interpersonal communication skills are effective in ensuring that each visit, whether short or long, gives his patient’s the opportunity to express themselves and their needs. He is easy to connect with and is open to trying different plans of care to find out which type of therapeutic procedure works best for you.
Dr. Zaman is professional, caring, and calm. He was very accommodating as I had an emergency and couldn't make my original appt time. I have appreciated his willingness to listen and work with me to make the most appropriate plan of care.
