I am so pleased that I used Tac Law Advocates to help me with my taxes. I had a number of issues to resolve, the sale of a primary residence, change of state of residence and some missing paperwork as the result of a long & complicated move across country. ******* explained the program to me, and proceeded to move ahead with the resolution of incomplete returns. I retained a tax resolution place to help me get my tax resolved with the **** hoping Id be able to pay a smaller amount or have a smaller balance to work with. Tax Law Advocates contacted me and we went over the questionnaires and I was told , Id be a great candidate for tax forgiveness . I do not have anything other than my job and my 401k and that is not available, unless I retire. They gave me a questionnaire and I filled it out, asked me to start making payments. I am livid !!! I was told the very first conversation I had with these ******* nothing would be touched as far as my home. I just got a tax lien in the mail from the *** for $31K !!! I want my money back and then some !

While my case manager did keep me informed, the update for 3 months was essentially, "no one has reviewed your application internally." It did not instill confidence that Tax Law Advocates was working on my behalf or in my best interest. I paid just under $3,000 for their assistance, for my application to sit untouched. It was only when I stated that I might leave the program that someone reviewed the application.
