While my case manager did keep me informed, the update for 3 months was essentially, "no one has reviewed your application internally." It did not instill confidence that Tax Law Advocates was working on my behalf or in my best interest. I paid just under $3,000 for their assistance, for my application to sit untouched. If I could give a lower rating, I would. We paid 1000s of dollars to have them help us solve our tax issues. Promises were made they would reduce the amount owed, and/or delete penalties & interest. They also promised they would file our future taxes forever with no fee.Not Only did they NOT reduce debt, penalties, or interest, they forgot to file our 2024 taxes, exacerbating tax issues, resulting in additional non filing penalties. ****** initially asked us to compile tax info for 2024 taxes. They don't care and don't help paid $500.00 and had something else came up and they didn't do anything said I would get refund then backed out and way to expensive did not have good experience and will not ever use again or recommend Zaid and ***** not good zaid said trust him 1% and they would gain the other 99% . Client signed a contract, in which her first payment which is typically due right away was paid over 3 separate installments. The first $500 payment pays to post the power of attorney, as well as complete the investigation, which we completed. Client then decided to simply cancel, and not proceed. We did NOT require her to pay for the additional work done after the investigation, we simply cancelled her case and all remaining payments. Client did sign a contract, and simply change her mind.
In all sincerity, I am not denigrating the company nor implying that they are failing to fulfill their stated duties. However, I am currently encountering a pressing issue regarding the filing of my 2023 taxes. As a result of a significant familial concern, I have made multiple attempts to communicate with the company in order to address this matter, but regrettably, I have not received a response from the designated representative.
