An understanding phone hostess who modified my reservation three times due to rain delays. Restaurant was very kid-friendly (We had a boisterous 6 year old.) Fantastic menu selections and an attentive waiter. My guests were very pleased with their meals and the service adaptability to their kid. I had the avocado toast, which was difficult to cut. I should have asked for a steak knife. The egg was overcooked.
Outstanding in every way! Always a must for me when in DC!

Real treat during our visit to DC. Neighborhood itself was charming and made the walk to and stroll after a nice part of the whole experience.
Great variety of food especially for b’fast and brunch. The restaurant makes comfort food interesting and with a twist that does ‘t take away from the food’s essential nostalgic nature - from meatloaf to grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup to deviled egg appetizers.
Great food at a reasonable price. tom our server was excellent
