I first stopped in for some late night dessert but when I saw the full menu I knew I had to go back. I went back for Burger Night on Tuesday. Everything was delicious. I even got a pop tart on the way out for breakfast the next day. Every employee I have encountered has been friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going to be visiting more.
My wife and I love Ted's....initially we would eat breakfast there before Sunday Nats games. Then we discovered what a great lunch & dinner menu they have. So far I have yet to have a meal there that I thought was just ok.
I can't say how important it is when the staff of a restaurant (or any business) goes out of their way to do something kind and helpful for the customer, no matter how stupid the customer is or how much the problem was caused by them. This isn't an earth-shaking story, but I left my phone on the table when breakfast was over. It was raining, but I had an umbrella with me. I had made it two blocks away before I heard my name called out, and there was the manager running toward me with my phone. (The truth is that I had even d... read more
This is the second time I have been at Ted's. The food continues to impress me. I would highly recommend a milkshake when you are at Ted's!
Ted's Bulletin is a great place. The food is great, the service people are skilled and friendly, and the prices are good. My only beef is that the place gets loud -- not a problem for a friendly group, but a problem if you really need to hear what the other person is saying. I would recommend this place -- but make sure you have a reservation (it is a small place).
My family and I visited while on vacation for a week, and our two boys (17-15) loved it. They liked watching the chef make homemade pop tarts, and really enjoyed eating them. They also thought the hamburgers were fantastic. My wife and I agreed with them about the food, and we REALLY liked the adult milkshakes! Can't believe this hasn't been copied a thousand times. We told our server that we were trying to make a Nationals' game, and she got us in and out in less than an hour. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Not ch... read more
Great ambiance. Homemade pop tarts and milkshakes looked delicious. Short rib sandwich was outstanding. A good spot for a greasy brunch or lunch. Service was spotty and food took a while to arrive, but was worth it for the experience.
I was here as part of a large group on a Friday night. The food was great, and the atmosphere fun and laid back. However, the service could have been a bit more attentive. As our group was taking up 4-5 tables, you would think they would want to get us in and out, but after taking our orders and bringing our meals relatively quickly, our server just sort of disappeared. All in all, though, a great experience.
Lots of fun, great brunch date and friendly atmosphere, need a reservation but with one it was a breeze!
