Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere. Gotta love the menus there!
We had a large luncheon (about 13 ppl) yesterday at Ted's Bulletin! Everyone had a really great time! We were seated immediately, greeted by our waitress shortly thereafter, and our drink order taken. We ordered the food soon after that, but it did take a minute for everyone to decide from the varied menu because everything sounded good. At no time were we rushed; the experience was just seemless. At the end, the waitress separated our individual tickets so the group could pay separately. For a work luncheon, it was perfect.
White Russian milkshake is YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ted's never disappoints - it knows what it is about. Wonderful, classic comfort food with everything home-made, from pop tarts to the salad dressing. Best grilled cheese and tomato soup combination ever.
I went to Ted's on a Thursday night and made a reservation beforehand. When I got there the table was already ready for us. I had the Bacon Burger with PB and my friend had the chef's special of the night which was a grilled wahoo. Both dishes were perfect. Afterwards we sat at the bar and ate a few poptarts, the coconut, blueberry cheesecake, and bacon poptarts were amazing! I have been recommending to friends ever since!
Classic grilled cheese & tomato soup, meatloaf & chicken fried steak? What's not to love?!
Smaller inside than I thought. The homemade poptarts were amazing! A MUST when you go. It's like your stepped back in time when you walk into the upscale diner. The decor is almost like you're in a movie. The breakfast was amazing. The portions are a good size, not too much not too little. Reservations recommended. I went Friday morning around 8 am and it was already packed. Will definitely be making multiple trips back.
we were a varied group of eight, ranging in age from 5 to 50. there was something for everyone! great bar drinks, kids menu, milkshakes to die for (kid AND adult versions) and watching the pastry chef make the pop tarts was a fun experience for all of us!! can't wait to return and try everything else on that tasty menu.
I often go to Ted's for dinner before the NATS nights. It is close to the ballpark and gets you there a little early to beat traffic. The Burgers are delicious and moderately priced. The service has always been good and with a 5:30 P.M. reservation we're always done by 6:30 P.M. with plenty of time to get to a 7;05 game. The food is much better here than at the ballpark and proably less expensive. No waiting in line.
