I took some friends who were from out of town to Ted's because it's fun and generally has great food. I had the fried chicken this time and thought it was a bit underwhelming and not as hot as I would have liked. My sides were also a tad on the cold side. My wife had the burger and absolutely loved it. Everyone finished the meal off with one of Ted's shakes which are really great.

Really good food and friendly service, but noise can be a problem--especially when crowded with families with small children. Visit for dinner on a Sunday night was almost painful because of the noise. But previous visit for a weekday lunch was fine. Only problem is that the wonderful country-fried steak is only served at dinner.

The homemade poptarts and adult milkshakes make Ted's Bulletin a Capitol Hill hot-spot. But even if you don't indulge in their sweet treats, the food is great!

While it is sometime loud and boisterous, it is a great place to grab a bite on the hill if you aren't looking for something complex or ethnic. Ted's is worth paying a visit the next time y... read more

We just moved to the neighborhood and plan to return to Ted's Bulletin. The food is like an upscale Cracker Barrel but more adventurous.
