Great ambience and location. Food is alright. Hidden service charge added to the bill right at the point of payment left a bad taste, especially when the server does not mention it and pushes you to tip.
Went to the newly opened Ted's in Noma. Had a very enjoyable work lunch with colleagues. I ordered a salad and it was very yummy. The service was good. The only issue was our table was under a vent and it was very chilly.
Finally went to the new Ted's in NOMA! I love Ted's so the food is definitely consistent across locations. Unfortunately, the service was a bit subpar. I had the hibiscus Paloma which was WONDERFUL but my friend had the summer aperol spritz and didn't love it. It has mango and rum in it so be prepared for that. I will say this location is great for a full sit down meal versus the other ones that feel like a full diner!
Tried Ted's again and what a different experience this was!!!!! We sat at the bar around brunch time on a Thursday. The restaurant was pretty slow. We got the tuna bowl, mexican street salad, and blueberry ricotta pancakes. Everything was delicious. And they cooked the steak on the salad perfectly. We also got the spicy pineapple margarita and an Irish coffee. The margarita was delicious not too sweet at all. So glad I gave Ted's a second chance!
Had a great brunch here. Very cute place. We enjoyed our meal outside. Had plenty of food. Great vibes around us along with service.
Beautiful new space and very well decorated. The bar is walnut, and very pretty. The bartenders are very "green" if you know what I mean.....but you gotta start somewhere. The food is really tasty and the portions are very large. Most entrees should serve two people. We've already been three times, and we really enjoy sitting at the bar for $8 happy hour cocktails. Nice neighborhood spot that we'll be walking to as long as we live here.
This was my second visit to the new Ted's Bulletin in NoMa and I was very pleased both times. The atmosphere, staff, and food are all great. On my recent visit, my table got the Lobster Mac & Cheese ($20), Big Mark Breakfast ($17 for 3 eggs, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage patties, hash browns, sourdough bread, and Ted's Tart), and Chicken + Waffles ($22 for fried chicken breast, belgian waffle, maple hot honey, chive butter). We also had Bottomless Coffee ($4.50 for the Every Day Blend, a locally roasted medium-dark coffee) and... read more
Easily the best brunch I've ever had in DC! When I walked in with my girlfriend on a Saturday late morning, I was expecting a bit of a wait as I hadn't even thought of placing a reservation. I had no need to fear however, as we were instantly seated! The waitstaff and hostesses were very sweet, complimenting our outfits and truly welcoming us in as valued customers. I ordered the farmers scramble with a bunch of vegetables, sourdough toast, and hash browns. It was a delicious brunch; the eggs were full of flavor, the hash ... read more
The food was super delicious. I can't stop talking about the brisket mac and cheese grilled cheese, it was so flavorful, plus the tomato soup was perfect. The fried chicken biscuit minis were also very good. The biscuit was so buttery and fluffy. The chicken was very tasty and the pickles and honey were perfect! Will definitely be a regular here.
