Everything was fine up until closing when we had to wait for over an hour for that final document to come through. Thankfully we were told we could go ahead and leave and e-sign anything, but waiting for over an hour was not enjoyable.

Communication started out great, then went to absolute pfft for both us and our real estate agent. Kept having issues with communication and underwriting, then finally Debra Taylor, the VP of their department, got involved and things stayed on track but it was still a complete hassle and aggravation. Would not do business again.

Originally communication wasn’t great. Towards the end of the transaction communication improved greatly.

I liked Teresa just fine, but there were many times throughout the homebuying process that I felt she could have communicated better with my wife and me. She did work very hard to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible, but I was left in the dark a few times and that really tainted my overall experience.

Providing documents was easy with the app. Had to resubmit several peices when a staff member had no longer been employed by bank south. A bit in communication breakdown between bank south staff. Over all the process was pleasant.
