Exactly what we wanted! We were looking for a high end steakhouse experience, with classic drinks and wine list, old school service and top notch food. We found all of those things at Roxy. In truth - I was surprised and nearly discounted Roxy as a destination because the name didn't sound like a great restaurant. It sounds more like a disco - but it's an amazing place with each room having it's own signature and theme. The food was outstanding - I highly recommend the souffle - so good!
Everything was outstanding as usual. The meals were superb, extensive wine list, and the service was better than the most stringent expectations. Don’t pass on the fresh baked bread, and take the time for one of their famous soufflé s! Always a treat!
Wonderful food, great atmosphere and excellent service. Always enjoy dining here when in Reno.
I feel if I have a reservation I shouldn't be sat right next to the kitchen where it was very loud and difficult to have a conversation with my wife. I was very disappointed in the table we were sat at.
Food and service were great. Dessert sub par. My wife and I went there to celebrate my birthday. Food was good and our server was excellent. The manager came by to compliment my wife on her looks, pretty much ignoring me which was fine. He went over and beyond his compliments to my wife to the point she was embarrassed. The food is always delicious.l The sauces are wonderful, the best. You can't go wrong. Oh, the service is outstanding.. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I have to disagree with the high ratings I saw for La Strada prior to making reservations. We had to send back the Fettuchini Alfrado with Chicken. The chicken was charred , overcooked and tough. The Alfredo sauce was really bland, no cheese was detected in the flavor. I ordered the Scallop Risotto and it was fine, but served with just 3 scallops and a huge sea of Risotto. In all, we felt the experience did not live up to our expectations, and the price tag. Cannot recommend it, and won't go again.
