Excellent food , top of the line service. We have eaten at La Strada several times and have always been delighted.

It was our first visit to Reno (just passed through on way back from Lake Tahoe). We stayed one night at the Eldorado with the sole intention of attending the Illusionists (which is a great show for families with kids of all ages). To my surprise as part of buying tickets to the show we received 1/2 off for entrees at many restaurant associated with the three of the hotel/casinos. We choice the Roxy and saved $45 on the bill. Our evening at La Strada was a terrific and elegant experience. From the moment of our arrival we were treated with great attention and consideration. We much enjoyed conversing with Gary our host for the evening and our server Melissa was delightful and attentive (I even received a quiet birthday aria from her when it was understood I preferred no staff serenade, BRAVA!) and the rest of the service was excellent as well. Wait staff were friendly without being intrusive. The ribeye steaks were done to perfection and melted in your mouth. Quiet atmosphere and great ambience with the domed, brick, wine cellar feel.
The mushroom rsvioli is O M G . . . .
We enjoyed our meal at La Strada. The server was attentive and kudos to the chef who honored our request and omitted the cream from our spaghetti carbonara. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience although we ate far too much!
I an never disappointed when I visit La Strada. From the greeting I get at the entrance to my exit, I am never disappointed. The food is delicious. The waitress, Kimberly, was terrific and I always look forward to visiting her. You won't be disappointed with a visit.
