I wouldn't even take my pet rock here if I had one. This place failed us miserably. Our kitty was having issues about 2 months ago and we took him in. They did blood work, not a good exam and told us he was in the beginning stages of renal disease. And they put him on a medication for diarrhea. After 10 days he was not better so we took him back. RecommendedThe employees and staff are excellent....Rhonda takes care of our two shitzuuuus in the grooming dept. and she can cut them like a rug or is that dancing ? She is great for them and they always hate to leave !!!!!
My parents and grandparents both go here, and I started going the recommendations of my mom. A procedure for one of my dogs was almost $700 at another area office, same procedure at the Animal Hospital was $400. Cost is only a small benefit of taking your pets to this office. The staff is all friendly and genuinely cares about your pets. My Pit has never been very vet friendly and she leans in to and cuddles with the techs and her Vet Doctor Weaver. There are not enough kind words for the Drs and staff. Our 12 year old Lab Molly fell ill suddenly last week. They worked around the clock to save her. Sadly her kidneys didn't recover. Dr Laura was there to not only comfort Molly but my husband and I as we had to say goodbye. They are the ONLY vet our furbabies will see
It's pretty horrible and insensitive when the Animal Hospital threatens to report my mother to collections and here's why: -Her 8yr old lab mix was "lost" during surgery while under anesthesia. -abill was not sent for 4 months after her premature death. -we asked for ink paw prints of our deceased family member and in retrospect found out they claimed my idea and now paw prints are sold for a pretty penny. I honestly will not go to another vet. The care and compassion showed to not only my pets, but to myself is remarkable. I just recently had a traumatic experience involving my 6 year old cat, Katie. She somehow got caught on something and completely tore her right side open. Unfortunately it happened at night so I had to take her to the emergency vet in Watsontown.... BIG MISTAKE!!!! The Doctors are great, but not the groomers! Doesn't anyone check on the problems with the groomers?
Make sure you actually check in with one of the receptionist because they act like they don't see you when you walk in with your 150lb Great Dane. After sitting in the empty lobby for 15 min I went up to the counter (which was busy when I came so I didn't want to butt in front of people) I was finally asked if I was helped yet?
