Great management and customer service! I have been living in The Aspen for almost 4 years now. Customer service from the leasing office has always been great, maintenance is very responsive and fixes issues within a couple of days of putting in a request. I have had an oven and microwave replaced with brand new ones when I had issues with the old ones. The fridge in the unit I transferred to was brand new as well. Ups and Downs Although my stay here will be short (7 months) reading reviews always helped me when making a decision of any apartment. Her are the pros and cons, hopefully this will provide insight. Pros: The leasing office and concierge staff are nice. This is the first time I have ever been in an apartment with shared laundry facilities but they keep the laundry rooms clean and there is a laundry facility on each floor. Wonderful time This was the first apartment I've ever moved into, and I had a wonderful experience. Although I had a short lease (about 5 months) I cannot think of one negative thing about the apartment during my time there. Every single member of the staff was top-notch. Definitely Staying for a while I’ve lived at the Aspen for a year now and I am so excited to renew ! The New Management team has been so helpful with transferring my lease into a bigger apartment. I have also loved the new changes that the Management team has made. Being that it is an older building, there are some amenities that are lacking but you can see that the New Management is working hard to update them.

Safe, affordable for D.C., great staff The Aspen is close to D.C. proper, offers a free shuttle to Crystal City metro, beautiful views, and the staff have been extremely gracious to us. We lived here for almost 3 years, the entirety of our time in the DMV area. The maintenance staff were always very prompt, kind, and very hard-working. The leasing staff, particularly Matt, are kind and approachable.

Ready to welcome you home! A lifestyle balanced between affordability and leisure. I've lived here for 6 years going on to 7. That's my testimony! I love it here. The Maintenance staff members have worked here more than 20 years! They are pleasant, welcoming and kind. They make sure your service request does not go outstanding for more then a day. Aspen House Great price for this area and the apartments are very spacious. The staff is very friendly and they keep the ground up well.
The Aspen Apartment staff is extremely nice. Convenient to DC. Has shuttle service to the metro station.
Great Price and Size - Close to DC This apartment complex offers a great price for a very large apartment(around 1400 for a 800 sq ft 1 bedroom). I love that utilities are included in the rent and that staff is very friendly. There is a shuttle that goes to the Crystal City metro that is fairly convenient, and a Metro bus stop in walking distance from the complex. The only thing I dislike is that the building is aging and definitely needs a facelift(if not to be completely demolished and rebuilt)
