RecommendedTotally professional operation. We are always greeted at the front desk. My dog comes home happily exhausted. I would recommend without reservation. I've looked at other similar businesses in the area and none compare to The Barking Dog.
My pup, Ruckus, gets so excited in the car when he realizes we are going to “his school”. I love watching the videos of him playing with other pups & he is always such an exhausted (& very happy) pup on the nights he is there. They do a great grooming job too for my guy who isn’t the biggest fan with his wheaten terrier (high maintenance) hair. Highly recommend!
People and pups there are great!! We use TBD for playcare, grooming and boarding. Jack is always happy to pull into their driveway.
Love this place! I would recommend it to anyone! One time my dog got sick (not their fault) and they handled it perfectly, which is exactly what you need. You want the dogs to have fun but you want them to be healthy and safe. The Barking dog checks all the boxes.

Tripper, our German Shepherd loves to come here! We only hoped this was the case because our last GSD loved the Hooksett daycare but where we have relocated... the Barking dog in Exeter have all made us feel right at home. My husband Jeff and I love to see Tripper happily play on YouTube videos. We also know that at the barking dog the girls have all been super patient with our high energy pup. My french bulldog Bandit goes to the barking dog 1-2 times a week and has a blast. The staff are very good to him and the other dogs.
