Clean inviting atmosphere. Very friendly staff across-the-board in all areas. Plenty of activities, like living on a cruise ship. My mother-in-law is in a 2 bedroom apartment that is luxuriously sized with lots of natural light in all 3 rooms. A full-size kitchen with a laundry room Both closets were upgraded with lots of modern storage and shelving.
Brennity was it hands down, I can walk there or bring the golf cart, that's how close they are! The proximity overshadowed any other benefits of other facilities we looked at. The only thing that I would suggest is to have a guide book or handbook for the resident to make acclimation to the facility more seamless. Staff are all very friendly. What stood out to us about the facility is that there is a welcoming staff at check-in, the dining facilities are top notch, and the amenities, such as a hairdresser, event planners, and a library. The recreational activities are superb. We are very pleased with my Mother's care. We are also very pleased with Physical and Occupational therapy services, as well as Speech and Language services offered to our mother in Assisted Living. The journey of finding an assisted living facility for a parent is a daunting and difficult process. The Brennity really put us at ease. It's clear the administration there really understand their business. And the staff there is truly lovely and terrific. I fully trust they are taking good care of my mom.
They do have activities for the residents to participate in.
I would like to see an improvement in the food and the entertainment as well.
The community was large and was more designed for independent living. This was too expensive for us.
We feel that the assisted living side at The Brennity was an after thought, and they seem to drop the ball when elderly assisted living people need attention.
It is very nice place if you need it. We have looked around at other places, we liked this one the best. The food is excellent. The rooms are good sized. We have a two bedroom two bath unit . They have nice outdoor space.
