Always a solid choice! The food is not adventurous but if you like very traditional Italian you will be happy you chose any Chateau location. I've been to four and would return to any one, though the mother ship in Waltham, MA is very slightly the best. Good value and an assortment of deals so check with the restaurant about lunch or early dinner, especially if you prefer smaller portions. You won't be leaving hungry in any case.
Food is always good. But my dinner was cool and I had to send it back. When we left I asked my husband about the temperature of his dinner. He replied not very hot. We were with another couple and he didn’t want to make a big deal of it. Who wants to eat cold pasta?
Our server was amazing and other staff stepped in, as needed,
toasted raviolis, pizza, and swordfish special - all excellent
We are very familiar with the Chateau Restaurants and they are great for family gatherings. The food is consistent and at a fair price. You know what you are getting. Our server Colby did a great job!
The Chateau lunch menu never disappoints. Our party of three sat on the patio which was much appreciated. It’s not beautiful, but it provided us with the opportunity to eat outside and during these Covid times it’s the only way I eat at restaurants.
My wife and I love this restaurant and come here at least monthly. Drinks and food are great, service is outstanding, and the price point is excellent. One recomendation I would like to make is that the kitchen has to be much better about getting hot food out hot. Every time I get a parmesean dish, be it eggplant, chicken or veal it is cold and the cheese is barely melted. It seems they use only the residual heat from the fried food and the sauce to melt the cheese rather than putting it under the broiler or in the oven. The... read more
The food was good (caprese salad, stuffed shells, meatballs, chicken parm), but the overall experience was negatively impacted by slow and inattentive service. No refill of water glasses; the wine and beer we ordered seemed to take forever to arrive; dinner was slow to come from the kitchen; we had to flag down the server to ask for the check. The restaurant did not seem busy, so we could not understand why a simple dinner (no dessert ordered) turned into more than 2 hours.
Our server was excellent. Food awesome. Can’t wsit to go back.
