Three of us arrived on the late side at 7:30 PM for a birthday dinner. Because they close at 8, we feared service would be hurried...Not so at all. Our waitress was charming and attentive and made us feel welcome. We three had shrimp scampi, haddock St Germaine and an Italian combo plate (Tuesday is combo night and this entree was a few dollars less than usual). Always a solid choice! The food is not adventurous but if you like very traditional Italian you will be happy you chose any Chateau location. I've been to four and would return to any one, though the mother ship in Waltham, MA is very slightly the best. Good value and an assortment of deals so check with the restaurant about lunch or early dinner, especially if you prefer smaller portions. You won't be leaving hungry in any case.
Food is always good. But my dinner was cool and I had to send it back. When we left I asked my husband about the temperature of his dinner. He replied not very hot. We were with another couple and he didn’t want to make a big deal of it. Who wants to eat cold pasta?
