This was a birthday dinner date from/with my son and we enjoyed the attentive staff, the lunchtime ambiance was still comfortable and full menu available. The staff was knowledgeable about the food, the story behind it and even recommended how to eat the dishes we were curious about. My son has Ostrich and I had Lamb Porterhouse. Ambiance 10/10 upscale yet very communal. Staff greeted me with warmth upon entering . Enjoyed the Cocktail hour! Spoke with the owner Paul! This is his 62nd Concept. South African infused dishes with tenderest and flavor! I had the kinglet tacos but forgot that picture . However here’s the rest . The infused water was such a refresher to my pallet! Loved the dishes, started with the Vleis Pastei (MUST get, extremely flavorful) then the Durban Chicken, and Ostrich Filet. All was so delicious, the chicken had a variety of spices and amazing sauce. Would recommend it all

Best starter I have tried: vleis pastei Entrees: ostrich fillet was pretty good if you love steaks but the Durban chicken was outstanding!

Strawberry water was delicious. Food was pretty good, but the service was great. Everyone was kind. David was an excellent waiter and very helpful. He seemed genuinely happy to tell us about the food.

This restaurant was a beautifully wrapped bow on top of my bday dinner. Our waitress was Lily and she was thoughtful and pleasant with an overall knowledge of the wine list plus plates were impeccable, anyone thinking about this place should run not walk there !
