Communication was bad once you were a resident and care was no comparison to Weinberg - felt too corporate and only felt comfortable with physical therapy personnel. Too much time spent trying to let up issues. Very much smoke and mirrors. Now wish I had never put my dad at this facility

Business response:

We are concerned to hear about your father's experience. Poor communication and unresolved issues are serious. Please contact us at (813) 694-4049.

Let me just give a list: We had a signed “All Inclusive” Contract. They changed these conditions without informing us. Never received notice. They stated that it was mailed but could not provide a copy of said letter. They added $[fee removed] worth of “enhanced” services. Imagine getting that bill. They insisted that our Mom needed a wheelchair. No problem, we got her on asap. She fell out of this wheelchair and broke her foot because they just left her sitting in it. Bedsores started after she broke her foot. All of her cl... read more

Actually, after speaking with [name removed] (director) and [name removed] (medical) my rating is now 2-3. My mother has been paying for additional services (almost the most that can be paid) and she has fallen 3 times in less than a 30 day period. She moved in [date removed]. We are now seeking other alternatives for my mom.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Colonnade at Northdale and the experience at this facility was terrible. The staff was just horrible and treated my loved one very badly. My loved one wasn't even there for a month, let alone a few weeks, before we had to move her out. They need new management and staff/people that work there as well. I would never recommend The Colonnade at Northdale to others.

I was very disappointed with our experience at The Colonnade at Northdale. We have had tons of problems with accounting. We were not happy with the lack of services that were provided and the treatment was poor. My loved one had covid and there was no sign or anything on the door. They said hand sanitizer was on the outside of the room but that was not the case. The cable did not work either. We were disappointed with the whole experience.

In the beginning they will treat your loved ones like royalty. When they have them feeling comfortable with their surroundings, then they start changing things. They want you to use their prescription plan and doctor and if you don't then they will increase your level of care charge. They must get kickbacks for the doctor and the pharmacy. We were told my mom could have her little dog with her there. After increasing the level of care, they are now saying they will charge $20 a day to care for the dog. The dog was recently a... read more

For regular assisted living facility they’re okay, but for memory care they suck. Their primary interest is money. For memory care the food … they just bring it out, set it down, and hope people eat it. The parking is okay. The medication management was not good.
