My mom was in a one bedroom. It was a really good size. In fact, it was bigger than her apartment that she moved from everyone at the courtyard was incredible. I have zero complaints about anyone that I dealt with and if I ever needed that type of care again I would definitely use the courtyard again. [name removed] was incredible. She was one of the nurses there and she was so nice and so knowledgeable everyone there was really great.
We didn't have enough time to really experience the activities. I didn't have a chance to eat there with my dad so I have no comments on the food, and my dad never said anything about liking or disliking the food. The room was clean and large. It was much larger than the previous room he had at another facility which was nice. The care from the staff seemed to be good, but at thus point most of the care was coming from hospice so I can't really say how much care came from the facility. The caretakers are very nice. I would highly recommend The Courtyards at The Ambassador.
It has been a good setting for my father in law. He has flourished there. They have been very helpful and kind. They even worked with us when he wanted to change rooms.
Friendly staff, clean, smaller community. We would recommend to others
We had some issues in the beginning with them handling my mom and she has been in the hospital twice already, once for falling in the bathroom. I wish we'd had the money for a more expensive place. She says the food is good but she's bored. I know it's memory care but they sit around in the common area and sleep with the tv on. They don't have exercise or anything in that side.
They practice memory care. Residents who need help but struggle with using the call light are routinely checked throughout the day. This facility understands geriatric care.
The employees are all very nice and very helpful. She sleeps a lot more than most. But they do try to get up and sitting in the living room. She can't see very well, so she doesn't seem to socialize, as I had hoped. She seems comfortable there. She seems to get enough to eat. And if she wants a treat or snack, I have plenty things for her. And they seem to get her something! Clothes are done properly. The cleaning crew does not do a very good job. We had an excellent experience with the Ambassador! Only thing that was a problem was a break down in Communication at times!
