Fantastic food, friendly staff, great atmosphere, my favorite place to eat in Downtown Salem.
This is our 3rd visit and it's been great each time. I love the elderflower G&T and my husband enjoyed his pineapple express. We ordered some reoccurring faves - patatas bravas, fried artichoke hearts, and the garlic bread - all amazing! Plus we added the almonds, olives, and the Brittni salad (so good!), and split the cowboy ribeye. As someone who grew up in a cattle ranching family, it was delicious and severed at the perfect temp. This was our first experience at The Cozy Taberna and are already talking about when we going back!! They have a great cocktail menu and expansive wine list. The options were plenty and each as yummy as the next! I highly recommend sitting at the Chef’s Counter. You get to watch everything being made and the chefs are all friendly! Octopus seemed to be a fan favorite l, I couldn’t talk my husband into trying it!!
Simply the top restaurant in Salem. It is a tapas style experience ordering small or large plates to share like they do in Spain. It has a nice variety of menu items and is great for groups or for a date. The food is gourmet level quality with a focus on highlighting the main staple of your plate. Great cocktail menu using fresh and quality ingredients. The service is outstanding and the overall experience is in line with prices. You will not be disappointed.
Outstanding flavor, ambiance and flare! A must in Salem
Always great for a date night, the Riot rolls, brick chicken, and grilled octopus are my go-to's! Great drinks and I typically have high standards in that department as a bartender myself. One of the best spots in or around Salem hands down!
Our food was interesting, delicious and ample. Counter seating was comfortable and entertaining and our service was excellent. Very fun! Highly recommend
Wonderful service for a party of 9. We ordered a variety of small plates that were delicious and did not go home hungry.
Cannot quit eating the radicchio salad and that marvelous pork chop! Have had all but one item on the entree list and have loved them all. Got to try that one item soon too. Keep it up.
