Everything that we had on both the small plate and the large plate menu was amazing! The highlights for me were the seared scallops and the goat cheese dumplings. Next time I am in Salem I will be back.
We went there for the first time and on our anniversary. I made a reservation online saying what we were celebrating and requested a corner spot which we were given, and they seated us right away. They remembered it was our anniversary and everyone congratulated us. I'm not ashamed to say we seriously endulged... our waitress sweetly told us what we ordered was a lot of food for two people (she doesn't know my husband haha) and which foods from what we picked would reheat well (in case of leftovers). Great food and great service! The restaurant was able to accommodate adding two more to our reservation.
Not cheap but they do have a beautiful bar area. I think I would go for just drinks and a salad next time

The Cozy Taberna always exceeds our expectations. The food is delicious and the servers are excellent. Enjoyed sitting inside, but felt outside with the rolling door up. We will be back!
The food, the staff, the drinks, all so good. Everything is fresh and has amazing flavor. We love sitting at the counter to be able to interact with the kitchen staff and see what awesome work they do. Can't wait to go back to get those goat cheese dumplings!
