one of the cleanest and nicest gyms i've been too. they also have wipes stations for you to wipe down your equipment after using it. all of the staff is very nice and very helpful. i like the edge cinema so i can just workout while watching a movie. very nice. everything is kept clean haven't had one complain since i've been coming here.

Beautiful gym, outstanding equipment. This gym is cleaned constantly and staff is friendly, professional and attentive. You can't beat the price for what you get. It's not the closest gym to my house but I'm happy to drive further because it is worth it! Every person I have recommended to it has joined and loves it as much as I do.

Everything is behind a paywall. And when you choose not to upgrade and pay ridiculous prices for basic amenities they hit you with outrageous fees. Even when I re-enroll for another year paid up front, they still hit me with an enrollment fee, sign-up fee, etc. I think that's kind of crazy for a returning member. My last straw was when they tore down the cinema to make it ANOTHER paywalled area, and it's literally just another room with nicer weightlifting equipment.

I had an extremely frustrating experience trying to cancel my membership at The Edge Fitness. They were trying to charge multiple fees with no clear explanation and had to call several days in a row just to get basic answers. Each time, I was told something different, which only made the situation more confusing and time-consuming. I was also told that the general manager would call me to resolve the issue, but that never happened. Despite waiting and following up, I was unable to get in contact with her at all. Extremely Misleading Sales Tactics & Unprofessional Experience I walked into Edge Fitness today after speaking with a representative named Blake yesterday. I was literally online completing my membership purchase when he called me -- told me to stop, said he had better "in-house deals," and even mentioned a "buy one year, get one year free" offer. cancelled my personal training at the beginning of the year at Shelby location (my home location) in person with a manager just to find out they turned off the auto monthly debit but KEPT RUNNING THE BALANCE UP IN THE BACKGROUND on my account even though the manager told me it was cancelled. this should be illegal they are refusing to actually cancel the personal training sessions I'm not taking but keep increasing my balance by $200 every month!!! This gym is consistently trying to steal money from people. They know that I donated a kidney back in October and since pulled a hernia and they're still trying to take money even though the account was said to be closed by a manager 2 and 1/2 months ago. I will be contacting the better Business bureau about this.

Wtf is the matter with this location? The other edge fitness gyms are great, but the Shelby location is a bunch of kids breaking the equipment and molesting each other in front of everyone and for some reason edge allows this type of behavior. Every day there's some crazy/illegal shit going on, today I witnessed a group of teens breaking machines on purpose, and then ripping each other pants off and wrestling with their pants oin the middle of the gym. This gym is a joke when it comes to keeping up on their facility. When you pay close to $35/month to a gym, you don't expect things as simple as a drinking fountain to take over a month to get repaired or replaced. The men's locker room has constant backups, the sauna is hardly up and running, their tanning beds are trash because half the bulbs are burnt out, and there's never an explanation for anything. That's a direct shot at ownership/management. A little bit of pride goes a long way.
