I had an experience where I had to cancel my membership due to medical reasons, and I find out that they forge my signature because they only canceled my personal training, and when they forge my signature, I later find out because I got a copy of the document because they were still charging me for my membership. RecommendedI have no issue with the club, the child care is usually great but I had an experience that now causes me to question even driving the 20 minutes if I can’t count on their child care. My son usually does very well at drop offs most of the child care staff is friendly and engages my son if he is having a hard time separating from me. Today there were two workers in there who did absolutely nothing to engage my son while he was screaming for someone to play with him. This gym is terrible. They are no longer 24 hr with COVID (This was a major part of why we chose this gym). We requested to suspend our membership until 24hr access resumes and were told no. I tried to cancel my contract and they are refusing. The only way they say I can cancel is with a doctors note or if I move and have proof of moving.
I don’t want to say I do or don’t recommend Edge, because it’s a nice gym. However I do want to warn people to make sure you are careful about what you sign up for. I signed up as part of the “grand opening special”, which I remembered being very rushed and crowded so I don’t remember what exactly I signed up for, and I never got a copy of my membership contract.
