My daughter is living a nightmare in this complex and the leasing staff is rude and minimally responsive at best. So glad she's moving. Save your money and skip this place!

dont do it, read the lease before you sign. these people are scammers and not trustworthy. they get your child to sign the lease knowing they wont read it. AND THEY DO NOT PRORATE SO IM PAYING FOR A FULL MONTHS RENT AND MY DAUGHTER CANT MOVE IN TIL THE 17th, IM PAYING FOR 16 DAYS FOR???

I do not recommend living here. My roommates and I signed to be in a 4 bedroom x 4 bathroom apartment and they are relocating and separating us into 2 different apartments. They are making us move a week after the semester starts rather than allowing us to move into the apartment early. We also only have one day to move everything in. Management does not know what they are doing and is not willing to negotiate or accommodate their residents. This place is a disaster! I don't know where to start... We were paying for a renovated apartment and everything was adequate until the new management took over! They gave my daughter and her roommates one week to pack and move into another building because they were going to renovate the one they were in. We were already paying extra for a renovated apartment so I don't really understand that nor did the "manager" when questioned. The Flatts has the absolute worst property management I have ever seen. The office staff are not trained at all so they are either completely unable to answer simple questions or they give false information, inconsistent, and conflicting answers. I'm sure this isn't their fault but it is certainly a sign of terrible management and leadership. Cable and internet are included in rent but they do not repair it in a timely manner (it's been almost 3 weeks) and they do not credit you for the lack of services. However, the mos... read more

I have lived in the Flatts Salisbury for a year now and have been forced to move twice already due to renovations. Both times I received very short notice before being forced out. My current apartment is by far the worst. The internet has been down for a week now, and management keeps saying it will be back "soon". The oven doesn't work, as 10 seconds after turning it on a billowing cloud of black smoke emerges. The apartments might seem great but they are not, what's so ever. Also the manger Stephanie is unprofessional and cuts you off while your talking, highly disrespectful.

Do not give your money to this apartment complex. What we were shown in photos and on an apartment tour - was NOT what our actual apartment looked like. The living room "furniture" is just a wooden bench and chair (singular) with pillows on them. They also give you backyard BBQ folding chairs for your dining room table, or for you and each of your roommates desk chairs, but you have to choose which! Ya can't have both! We were told we'd be getting new appliances, but ended up with appliances that were well over a decade old.... read more
